Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Chestnut the Cat needs a home

Introducing the Little Tree Kittens

DOB April 24 2017 approx

These amazing kittens hail from a colony in Richmond Hill. Rescue Angels was contacted by an overwhelmed colony caretaker who needed with his charges. Unfortunately, he didn’t realize that one of the primary responsibilities of a colony caretaker is to spay/neuter the cats to prevent more litters. He had been trying to keep the numbers of cats stable by giving away or selling surviving kittens to friends and strangers. By the time he reached out to us there were about 20 cats and kittens that were in desperate need of vet care, food, and TLC.

These adorable bundles of cuteness are now healthy and ready to move into loving “Fur”ever homes. Please keep in mind that kittens should be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young friendly cat.

Hickory – Do you know what I like to do the most? PLAY!!! I am an active boy who likes to play with you all the time but when I am tire, I love to cuddle and feel your gentle touch. I have a habit of head twisting every once a while. My vet said this habit of mine is not a concern and it will not affect my growth and my ongoing life. It could be a neurological issue but it’s nothing serious. I am totally stable and my vet said I won’t worsen. I would love to be adopting with my sister Chestnut because I really want a bonded playmate to grow up with me. Or please consider my mother Aspen, I feel secure when she is around.

Chestnut – I am sweet, gentle and a quiet little girl. Most of the times I like to watch things happen around me or stay by your side. I am not the type that likes to go into lots of actions. I call myself the “layback” type. I really enjoy being on your laps and sleep. My brother Hickory and I are best friend and I would like to go to our forever home with him. I love to wrestle with him and do my silly kitten stuffs when he is around.
